As an update we are carrying out minor structural earthworks onsite and the mulch removal works have been completed. Furthermore, we hope to have our new flare commissioned shortly but will continue to operate the temporary flare until then.
We are also engaging the expert advice of a landfill systems scientist who is the recognised expert in this field of what occurs inside modern landfills. He is visiting the site tomorrow.
We continue to take only local wastes and received some 304 Tonnes from our local community and sent out 43% for further recycling.
We are not getting odour detection onsite or on the surrounding streets but ask if that is what you are experiencing? Please let us know.
